Use this page for common Markli install, sign-in, sync, and troubleshooting steps.

Install Or Update

1. Install Markli from the Chrome Web Store link or extension ZIP provided by your administrator.
2. Open the extension options page.
3. Click Sign in with passkey and complete the browser passkey prompt.
4. Click Load server roles, then choose the role folders this device should keep.
5. Click Test passkey session.
6. Click Sync now to pull the managed bookmarks for this device.

Safe First Sync

1. Start with only the role folders you need on this device.
2. Keep push disabled unless your administrator has made you an editor.
3. After the first sync, confirm bookmarks appear under the managed bookmarker/ folder.
4. Use Preview push before any write back to the shared bookmark set.

Push Changes

If push is enabled for your device, click Preview push before Push now. Review the roles, folders, and bookmark count before writing local managed changes back to the Worker.

Troubleshooting

• If the passkey test fails, click Sign in with passkey again and retry the test.
• If no roles appear, sign in first, then click Load server roles.
• If sync returns HTML instead of JSON, the browser is not authenticated for the selected auth mode. Use passkey session mode, or check the Cloudflare Access service-token fallback settings.
• If the extension still shows an old version, reload the unpacked extension or install the latest package from your administrator.
